Foundation Studio: Project 3

The goal of this project was appropriating another work we liked. I chose a photography work to reference: Whimsey | Vignette:Mimi, Minerva, Mohammad, and Monte: Life is Just a Bowl of Cherries (41, 32, 64, and 51))
1988-1992. The piece depicts a group of sock monkeys around a picnic table. I chose to reference the childhood stuffed animal portion of the picture. I drew portraits with oil pastel of both mine and my mother's childhood stuffed animals. Mine is the dog: Barkers, and my mother', the frog: Kermie.
