This was one of the first assignments given to us in Drawing Techniques. It was a material study of textures found in the world, and they were divided up into Organic materials and Nonorganic (or man-made) materials. Up until this point, all of my digital art had shown thin black lineart, so using no lineart and directly relying on new brushes and textures was new to me. It helped open my skill to beyond my typical comic book style
